Coachella 2012: 10 Artists We Can't Wait to See
1 of 10
RADIOHEAD
It's not really a music festival till Radiohead show up. Thom Yorke & Co.—who haven't been back to Coachella since headlining in 2004 — have a deep catalog to draw from, and they've raised expectations by debuting two songs on the road this year.
Other tour dates American arenas and Bonnaroo first, then off to Europe and beyond.

PULP
The Britpop standouts (Jarvis Cocker pictured here) kick-started their reunion tour last year, but Coachella is among their first American outings since the Clinton-Blair era.
Other tour dates A handful of performances in New York and California before heading back to Europe.

DR. DRE AND SNOOP DOGG (Headlining on both Sundays)
As we eagerly await Dre's forever-gestating Detox album, the rap legend and upmarket-headphones hawker—joined here by his chief Chronic conspirator—may actually provide the Coachella crowd with a sneak peek at what's to come.
Other tour dates This is it for the Doctor, but Snoop will be hitting up the festival circuit here and abroad.

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE
Believe it or not, Ms. Welch's gang have yet to give their recent album, Ceremonials, a proper U.S. tour. And now that they've got an MTV Unplugged album out, their set will be full of surprises.
Other tour dates A host of Stateside stops in April and May, and another brief spin through the U.S. in late July.

AT THE DRIVE-IN
This will be the hard-rocking ''One Armed Scissor'' quintet's first show since splintering into rival factions (the Mars Volta—Cedric Bixler-Zavala pictured here—and Sparta) 11 years ago. And while a lot of bands have shouted at us in the meantime, few have matched ATDI's famous intensity.
Other tour dates Three dates in Europe and one in Japan.

TUNE-YARDS
The indie quirkstress Merrill Garbus impressed us with last year's critically lauded Whokill, a collection of loopy art-pop songs that are known to inspire ecstatic, erratic dance parties live.
Other tour dates A jaunt across North America, Brazil, and Northern Europe.

JEFF MANGUM
Neutral Milk Hotel's notoriously reclusive frontman has been known to hibernate for years on end, making every chance to see him play all the more precious.
Other tour dates Select cities west of the Mississippi, as well as festival dates in Spain and Portugal.

FRANK OCEAN
The Odd Future collective's resident crooner got his start writing songs for Beyoncé and Justin Bieber, but his self-released debut Nostalgia, Ultra introduced us to his own exciting brand of proggy, Eagles-sampling R&B.
Other tour dates An opening gig with Coldplay in Europe in late August and September.

MARTIN SOLVEIG (Check out the DJ Tent!)
After saying ''Hello'' to international success back in 2010 with his giddy, ubiquitous dance-pop smash, the French DJ lent his production talents to none other than Madonna for her latest album. Clearly he'll have no problem turning the desert into a disco.
Other tour dates Select solo appearances in Europe and an opening slot for Madonna on the European leg of her tour.

KENDRICK LAMAR
After taking South by Southwest by storm, the rising mix-tape rapper has quickly become one of the game's most sought-after new artists.
Other tour dates He (along with A$AP Rocky) will accompany Drake through Europe before breaking off on his own to do the Bonnaroo and Pitchfork fests.
