''There were more selfies than last year. This selfie I took with part of the Justice League circulated quite a bit, but then I also got a selfie with the Avengers. I don't take sides.''

''Every year, I do a ceremonial trip to In-N-Out Burger on my way down to San Diego.''

''I don't feel like I'm a member of the cast of The Walking Dead, per se. I feel like I'm the Cousin Oliver. I'm not part of the immediate family, but they accept me, and I feel like if I needed them to adopt me and take care of me, they would.''

''Nerdist held this laser tag thing that we did with 2K, and this was a creature right outside our laser tag. It's a Stan Winston creation. It's a head that goes on this body that a guy controls, and it fully articulates the face and the head and the eyes.''

''Kristin Bauer van Straten from True Blood did an episode of @Midnight, and she's going to do my podcast soon. We got to be buddies, and this was at a party.''

''These are just two awesome neon Transformers—those are both Autobots. It's just really cool robot cosplay that I saw at night. I like those costumes in the day, but at night, you get the Tron light on it too.''

''Here I am making duck faces with Channing Tatum. I was actually trying to make kissy faces, but it came out more like a duck face. Making duck face—that's the only thing I do better than Channing Tatum. It stops after that.''

''For the Hobbit panel, [Stephen] Colbert dressed as his Laketown Spy character, and it was fantastic. He knows more about Lord of the Rings than [author J.R.R.] Tolkien. It's just not a road you want to go down with that guy, because he'll smoke you on trivia. He beat Philippa [Boyens], one of the producers, in some sort of trivia battle at one point. I was dressed as Marty McFly, which is why I was wearing Ray Bans and a life preserver.''

''My favorite moment of Comic-Con was getting a Biff-style noogie from Benedict Cumberbatch while I was dressed as Marty McFly. If there's a perfect mixture between manhood and English roses, that's what he smells like. It's a sweet masculinity. He was such a cool guy.''

''If I want to walk the floor quickly, I have to go a little incognito. So this is a Boba Fett hoodie I have that has mesh I can see through. I could talk to Guillermo del Toro for hours. What you find with a lot of these guys is they're just like us. They're super fans who made their career out of something they love. It's easy to see why these guys are so good and pay such attention to detail and make such incredible work. It's not really a job for someone like Guillermo. It's a passion that he happens to get paid for.''

''I moderated the Avengers panel, and here's Robert Downey Jr. The rest of the Avengers are behind him, as always.''

''I had to get from Hall H up to the Balboa Theater where we were going to do two podcasts. So I come out of Hall H, and I'm dressed as Marty McFly, and I run into the people pouring out of Hall H, and everyone is just super-excited and positive, and it was basically the longest and biggest high-five swarm I've ever experienced in my entire life. As I was high-fiving people with both hands, I would just see another wave of hands go up. It took probably 40 minutes to get through it, but it was really amazing. There are just people as far as you can see back there. Right now I'm in the middle of it, but what you can't see are that many people in all directions. My Saturday was like 17 hours long, but it was totally worth it.''

''Michael Rooker was on our podcast Saturday night with Evangeline Lilly. Rooker's great. I've done a lot of stuff with him, and he's up for anything. He's like your rowdy stepdad who will take you on a fishing trip. He'd be the guy like, 'I'm gonna give you a sip of beer. Don't tell your mom!' I'm trying to look really tough, because it's Rooker. Mostly I look constipated.''

''At one of our podcasts, this guy came as a made up a character called Nerdist Man. You might have to Photoshop some dong tip out of there. Pro tip: Hide your dong.''

''This is the Occulus at the Legendary booth. In the Occulus, I'm inside a Jaeger from Pacific Rim. Every direction you look, you're inside the Jaeger and there's a mini kaiju battle in there. It's stunning.''

''This is pretty cool—it's a special limited edition Xbox that Xbox made with a Nerdist wrap on it. Every year it manages to get more and more amazing, and I don't know how that is. Because every year I go, 'Well, there's no way. Next year has got to be a step down after this.' But every year more crazy stuff happens. It's been fun.''
