Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender hit the big screen together in The Light Between Oceans, a film that was shot while the two actors fell in love. The Oscar-winning Danish Girl actress and the Oscar-nominated Steve Jobs star began dating in 2014 as they worked on the romantic drama, an adaptation of M. L. Stedman's novel of the same name, and tied the knot in October 2017. The actors touched on their relationship in a 2016 interview with EW. "It wasn’t the first time in a movie either of us had played somebody who is falling in love. There is an element of separation there. If I’m playing a murderer, I don’t go out and start murdering people," Fassbender said of their work on The Light Between Oceans, while Vikander weighed in, "I think we’ve made a clear statement that we keep certain things just between us. It was very easy to unite, but that’s quite personal."

Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky became an item after she starred in his psychological thriller mother! In September 2017, a year into their relationship, the pair stepped out together to promote that same project at the Venice Film Festival, marking their first time at a public event as a couple. “They have a very good relationship that is serious in the sense that they are on the same wavelength,” a source close to Lawrence told PEOPLE. “They respect each other in the most important ways and have many of the same interests. She is comfortable with him and in awe of his brilliance and talent.” The actress herself also opened up about Aronofsky to Vogue, saying, “I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I’m never confused with him.”

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris’ romance began when they met on the set of the comedy Take Me Home Tonight in 2007, before tying the knot in 2009 and welcoming a son, Jack, in 2012. In August 2017, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Mom stars announced that they had separated. “We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed,” they wrote in statements shared on their social media accounts. “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.”

Tom Holland and Zendaya reportedly began dating while they were filming Spider-Man: Homecoming, in which he stars as Peter Parker and she plays his friend and fellow classmate, Michelle. A source told PEOPLE, “They’ve been super careful to keep it private and out of the public eye but they’ve gone on vacations with each other and try and spend as much time as possible with one another.” After the news broke, Zendaya and Holland downplayed the rumors (with Zendaya joking she hadn't taken a vacation in a while).

Captain America and the Obvious Child star had a whirlwind romance in 2016 after meeting on the set of their upcoming movie, Gifted. The two kept their relationship private and split after less than a year of dating. After their breakup, Slate spoke fondly of her ex, telling New York Magazine in March 2017, "Chris is truly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, to the point where sometimes I would look at him and it would kind of break my heart. He’s really vulnerable, and he’s really straightforward. He’s like primary colors. He has beautiful, big, strong emotions, and he’s really sure of them. It’s just wonderful to be around. His heart is probably golden-colored, if you could paint it."

The actors “fell in love” on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005, according to Jolie. Pitt and ex-wife Jennifer Aniston officially divorced that year as news of his relationship with Jolie made headlines. The two were married in 2014, and have six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivenne, and Knox. Jolie and Pitt teamed back up on the big screen in 2015, starring together in By the Sea. News broke in September 2016 that the two stars were parting ways after Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt. “Angelina Jolie Pitt has filed for dissolution of the marriage. This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting at this time, and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time,” Jolie’s attorney said in a statement to PEOPLE.
