1 of 11
Amanda & Kris, Season 14
The dating couple, now engaged, seemed destined for Race greatness...until an unexpected U-Turn sent them packing.
Memorable Amanda Moment: Dominating a gymnastics-themed roadblock in Romania.
Memorable Kris Moment: After a Bavarian pie-in-the-face challenge, Kris spryly noted, ''This pie is delicious.''

Gary & Mallory, Season 17
The endearingly excitable beauty queen and her multi-talented father went far, far off-course in Oman, finally arriving at the Pit Stop hours after the other teams.
Memorable Gary Moment: Gary was uniquely good at pretty much everything. Seriously. He rappelled off a bridge, changed a tire, and played a strange Russian game called Gorodki, and he did them all perfectly.
Memorable Mallory Moment: Bedecked in a Russian babushka outfit, Mallory was literally swept off her feet by a handsy local villager. (She was only asking directions!)

Flight Time & Big Easy, Season 15
A pair of Harlem Globetrotters, Herb "Flight Time" Lang and Nate "Big Easy" Lofton pretty much define the term "fan favorite." Alas, the team had an ignoble exit when Big Easy couldn't unscramble five letters to spell "Franz." How Kafkaesque!
Memorable Flight Time Moment: The sight of Flight Time performing a ballet dance in Prague will live in your memory for decades.
Memorable Big Easy Moment: Big Easy found a needle (well, a flag) in a haystack to bring the team to a first-place finish... on Flight Time's birthday!

Kynt & Vyxsin, Season 12
The dating Goths had a good run on the show, but Kynt had some trouble with a stick-shift auto in Italy.
Memorable Kynt Moment: An admittedly ''prissy'' competitor, Kynt attempted a pole-vault challenge... and landed in a muddy canal.
Memorable Vyxsin Moment: A Speed Bump in Dubai forced the team to do some serious yoga. Kynt deadpanned: ''Any chance to see Vyxsin twisting, turning, and contorting her body [is] always a highlight for me.''

Jaime & Cara, Season 14
Former Dolphins cheerleaders, this ginger-haired duo came in second place and tied for highest-ranking all-female team in Race history... and also set a record for the highest-ranking team that never won a leg.
Memorable Cara Moment: The relatively even-keeled Cara cried during a foot massage in China.
Memorable Jaime Moment: Few Race contestants have gotten along so poorly with taxi drivers, so it was perhaps karmic payback when their cabbie in Hawaii got lost on the way to the final pit stop.

Jet & Cord, Season 16
A pair of gentlemen cowboys, the brothers made it all the way to the final leg, but lost for two controversial reasons: Another team cut in front of them at the airport, and Cord is really, really bad at videogames.
Memorable Jet Moment: Somehow, Jet kept his black hat on even during a bungee jumping challenge.
Memorable Cord Moment: Despite knowing nothing about soccer, Cord put up an impressive showing in a goal-shooting competition. Cowboys are awesome.

LaKisha & Jennifer, Season 14
An athletic duo — both played Division 1 sports for the University of Louisville — the sisters were undone by a poorly timed bathroom break on the way to a Pit Stop.
Memorable LaKisha Moment: Even smart competitors sometimes make mistakes — such as when LaKisha stuffed camel feed down her shirt, not realizing there was a basket nearby.
Memorable Jennifer Moment: A swimming task challenged the water-phobic Jennifer — but like a champ, she triumphed over her fears.

Margie & Luke, Season 14
The mother-son pair made it to the final three, but fell into third place when Luke couldn't figure out a surfboard challenge.
Memorable Margie Moment: In Thailand, a fatigued Margie passed out from dehydration after a grueling physical challenge. What a badass.
Memorable Luke Moment: Luke's deafness didn't stop him from being a serious competitor — especially in the historic Russian underwear race.

Mel & Mike, Season 14
Screenwriter Mike White and his activist father had a contentious race, but they won us over with their hilarious back-and-forth, even if they didn't make it past the Phuket Zoo.
Memorable Mel & Mike Moment:
Mike: ''Do you speak any Thai, Dad?''
Mel: ''Yeah! Mai Tai!''
[Long Silence]
Mel: ''That was a pun.''
Mike: ''I know.''

Ron & Christina, Season 12
The father-daughter team was in the lead on the last leg of the race. Unfortunately, Christina stumbled on the final roadblock of the season.
Memorable Ron Moment: Ron isn't shy about his opinions. When opponent Nicolas insulted a travel agent in Dublin, Ron chastised him: ''You got a mouth that starts with bad energy.''
Memorable Christina Moment: In contrast to her fussy, acrophobic papa, Christina was a spry contestant — never more so than when she raced through a camel-milking challenge (which ended with her drinking the milk.)

Zev & Justin, Season 15
Zev and Justin suffered every traveler's nightmare: They lost their passports. Let's hope they bring some fanny packs this time.
Memorable Zev Moment: Zev earned the nickname ''The Duck Whisperer'' after he proved to be the number one duck herder in a challenge in Vietnam.
Memorable Justin Moment: Well, he was really good at eating wasabi bombs. Seriously, we love these guys, but let's hope they stick around long enough to make some memories this time.
