There may not be physical Pride parades in June, but the spirit of celebration hasn't disappeared — it's just gone digital this Pride Month,

On June 25, P&G and iHeartMedia will be holding a virtual relief effort to raise visibility and funds for LGBTQ+ communities most impacted by COVID-19. Can't Cancel Pride: Helping LGBTQ+ People in Need will bring together some big names in entertainment, including Billy Porter, Ricky Martin, Kim Petras, Katy Perry, Adam Lambert, Big Freedia, Melissa Etheridge, Sia, and more.

The celebration will culminate with a one-hour special produced by iHeartMedia and P&G and hosted by radio personality Elvis Duran and actress and LGBTQ+ advocate Laverne Cox. With support from brands like Pantene, Tide, and Charmin, the effort aims to uplift the millions of Americans unable to participate in live Pride events across the country due to the pandemic.

The event will stream on iHeartRadio’s Facebook and Instagram pages, PrideRadio.com, and the iHeartRadio app on June 25 at 9 p.m. local time, and will be broadcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide.

Can't Cancel Pride has partnered with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation to distribute funds raised by the event to LGBTQ+ organizations including GLAAD, SAGE, the Trevor Project, the National Black Justice Coalition, Centrelink, and OutRight Action International.

Organizers are encouraging viewers to share their special Pride moments on social media using the hashtag #CantCancelPride throughout the month of June. For more information and the latest Can’t Cancel Pride news, and to donate, go to cantcancelpride.com or text “RAINBOW” to 56512.
