Modern Family‘s Jeremy Maguire transformed into an adorable Caped Crusader at the Emmys red carpet Sunday night. The child actor stole the show when he arrived at television’s biggest night, flaunting a blue cape attached to his sparkling mini tuxedo.

To the enjoyment of the photographers present, the lil’ man from the ABC comedy series was caught catching some air as he raced across the carpet. Maguire, who plays Joe Pritchett, rolled out with costar Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who posted video of the moment to her Instagram account.

This isn’t the first time the adorable star donned a cape to an awards show. He also sported one at the SAG Awards in January, and another at last year’s Emmy Awards. “Show us the cape,” photographers Sunday shouted at Maguire – and he was more than willing to oblige. See more photos below.

“…and we’re off,” Maguire’s Twitter account tweeted ahead of his red carpet debut. “Emmys here we come!”

The Stranger Things squad have some competition in the cuteness department.
