With so much talent in the composite to your right, it’s crazy that none of these actresses made the Emmys cut instead of, say, Law & Order‘s Mariska Hargitay or Harry’s Law‘s Kathy Bates. Only someone capable of showing great strength and vulnerability in the same moment could point a gun at a baby.

We bumped her up from the supporting category for Lisa’s seventh and final year on the show.

The stubborn, buttoned-up Nicki was often the series’ comic relief — making her more somber, serious moments even more poignant.
