Kelly Osbourne joins 'Fashion Police,' vows to tell it like it is
We’ve seen her as an angst-ridden teen on The Osbournes and a dancer with a jig on Dancing With the Stars. But, now, Kelly Osbourne is coming back to TV, and this time, she’ll be taking on the role of brutally honest fashion commentator alongside Joan Rivers and stylist George Kotsiopoulos on E!’s post-Emmy Fashion Police special Aug. 30. She’ll also appear in the network’s new weekly series beginning Sept. 10.
When I think of the wee Osbourne, I think of cat-fights with her brother, Jack, on the MTV reality show, and her hilarious impersonation of Christina Aguilera doing “Jingle Bells.” And if you’ve watched any of Rivers’ past Fashion Police specials, you know bitchiness + celebrity slamming is an equation for good TV.
Plus, if there’s anyone who could keep up with Rivers’ say-anything attitude, it’d be Osbourne — or Kathy Griffin. She tells E!, “at the end of the day, if you wear something s—, you wear something s—.” Like I said, this pairing is a match made in heaven, no?
What do you guys think of Osbourne’s addition to the panel? And is anyone else now sorely missing The Osbournes?
