Like really, really wants one. She wants one so badly, she stripped down to her skivvies for a print ad that ran in today’s Hollywood Reporter. Griffin gives the camera her best sultry stare, alongside the list of categories she hopes to be nominated in: Outstanding Reality Program (Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List), Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Special (Kathy Griffin: Balls of Steel), Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series (Law & Order: SVU), and, most importantly, Outstanding Actress in a Soon to be Released YouTube Sex Video. At the bottom of the poster, Griffin coyly ads “They don’t give out an Emmy for ‘Best Airbrushing’ but if they did, I’d totally win.” She’s probably right. There’s always 2011, Kathy!

Griffin’s no stranger to crazy Emmy antics. She won the Best Reality Program award for Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List in 2007, but had her “Suck it, Jesus” acceptance speech cut from the televised broadcast, due to comments deemed “obscene and blasphemous.” How does this measure up? I certainly wouldn’t mind if other television stars followed in Griffin’s footsteps (cough Ed Westwick), would you?
