The worst heroes ever tore up Comic-Con on Saturday.

Following first looks at Wonder Woman and Justice League, Warner Bros. premiered an extended trailer for Suicide Squad that highlighted the film’s plot and its rogues gallery of villains.

“Here’s to honor among thieves. We almost pulled it off despite what everyone thought,” Will Smith’s Deadshot says to his companions before issuing a warning: “They’re going to blame us for the whole thing. We’re the patsies. Don’t forget: we’re the bad guys.”

What follows is set-up: Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) assembling her task force of the most dangerous people on the planet, and the team realizing they’re on a suicide mission. “This is the deal. You’re going somewhere very bad to do something that will get you killed,” Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) says.

“You might want to work on your team motivation thing,” Deadshot replies, before asking if Flag had heard of famed NBA coach Phil Jackson and his triangle offense. “He’s like the gold standard. Triangle, bitch.”

That’s right: Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippin are canon in the Warner Bros. DC movieverse.
