It’s a new age for Harry Potter fans as Eddie Remayne prepares to make his debut as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, based on a screenplay by J.K. Rowling. To prepare moviegoers for the magizoologist’s adventures, the cast premiered a new trailer during a panel at Comic-Con’s Hall H on Saturday.

Redmayne helped debut the footage with director David Yates and fellow stars Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Colin Farrell.

“We’re going to recapture my creatures before they get hurt,” Newt says in the trailer. “They’re currently in alien terrain surrounded by millions of the most vicious creatures on the planet — humans.” Meanwhile, Farrell, playing an Auror named Percival Graves, is out on the prowl to detain Newt and put the literal cat back in the bag.

Fantastic Beasts centers on Newt who lands in Prohibition-era New York with a briefcase full of fantastical creatures. When said beasties bust out, he finds himself in the middle of a crisis that has major consequences for the American wizarding community.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will hit theaters this Nov. 18.
