We don’t mean to scare you, but The Simpsons will enter severely rarefied air and hit a massive milestone — 600 episodes! — on Oct. 16. The follks running Springfield, however, do mean to scare you with this landmark episode: It’s “Treehouse of Horror XXVII.” At a Saturday afternoon panel at Comic-Con for the forever-running animated show, producers unspooled a clip from the annual Halloween episode that features Bart as James Bond. It’s not exactly chilling, unless you consider multiple Moes in an erotic-kaleidoscope Bond-movie wink to be alarming, which you probably should. The bit — which also pokes fun at Fox shows of the yesteryore (Herman’s Head! The Littlest Groom!) as well as an upcoming one (Seth MacFarlane’s space-set show) — boasts a “theme song” that was sung by Judith Owen, who is married to cast member Harry Shearer.
