For Themyscira! Gal Gadot is ready for battle amid the glow of the first Wonder Woman poster, which debuted during San Diego Comic-Con.
Gadot released the image on social media ahead of the film’s Warner Bros. panel in Hall H on Saturday. “A dream come true,” she wrote. “Happy to finally share this with you all.”
“She has the heart of a human so she can be emotional, she’s curious, she’s compassionate, she loves people,” Gadot told EW of Diana for a special Comic-Con issue. “And then she has the powers of a goddess.” Gadot also argued that “only a woman” could direct the film in order “to tell the story in the right way.” Patty Jenkins, who is best known for directing Monster with Charlize Theron, helmed the 2017 feature.

The actress debuted as Diana Prince in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and will join Jenkins, Chris Pine, and Connie Nielsen during the upcoming panel to preview her solo DC film.
Wonder Woman — also featuring Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Lucy Davis, and Elena Anaya — will hit theaters on June 2, 2017.
