One of the many surprises during the Luke Cage panel on Thursday at Comic-Con was the debut of a first trailer for Iron Fist.

Starring Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones as the title character, Iron Fist focuses on Danny Rand, who was trained by denizens of the mystical K’un-L’un, and his origins as the crimefighting superhero.

“I love the character,” Jones told EW earlier this year. “I really enjoy how he’s a superhero with a real heart but has spiritual elements as well. I think it’s going to be an exciting character to play because there’s this contraction of on one hand he’s from a very wealthy family, he’s a billionaire, on the other hand he’s been in this world of K’un-Lun for a long time where he’s learned kung fu and buddhist philosophy. There’s a contradiction in those elements that’s going to be really fun to play.”

The tease came during the Luke Cage panel, where Netflix made a host of announcements about its Marvel properties, including a renewal for Daredevil (which will get a season 3), an update on the Punisher spin-off, and a first look at the logo for Marvel’s The Defenders series, which will bring together Iron Fist with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil.

Check out the teaser above; Iron Fist will arrive in 2017.
