In true Comic-Con fashion, Nerdist has created their own take on the annual gathering in San Diego by channeling Beauty and the Beast to describe all of the sights and sounds of the “little town.”

“Comic-Con: The Musical!” takes fans on a journey of the ultimate “nerd” event, complete with cameos and cosplaying, to the tune of Beauty and the Beast’s “Belle.” “Scents of spandex and pleather all around me,” sings the Star Wars obsessed Nerdist version of Belle. She keeps her cool throughout the musical number, that is, until she sees Daniel Radcliffe leading a panel.

It wouldn’t be a Comic-Con commentary without mentioning the line, after line, after line system, which the nerdy Belle makes sure to show off as she collects more “swag” after each stop. Even the joy and terror of the infamous Hall H makes an appearance, allowing a cosplaying Deadpool to remark about the fabulous chimichangas.

The rousing number ends on a high note, showing off a handful of interesting fans as they don their versions of beloved characters. “This is the Con that we adore / can’t wait for so much / can’t wait to see you on the floor!”
