AMC releases new poster, stills from season 2's second half ahead of Comic-Con
Did Daniel make it out of Celia’s dungeon after torching the compound? Will Jesse McCartney’s zombified corpse return to grace TV screens one last time? Where the hell does Nick think he’s going!?
Fear the Walking Dead left fans with burning questions after its intense midseason finale aired in May, the answers to which will hopefully be revealed when the AMC series returns for eight more episodes beginning Aug. 21. Before the premiere, however, Fear the Walking Dead heads to San Diego Comic-Con on July 22, and AMC has teased season 2’s back half by releasing a new poster and several photos from the upcoming episode.
The first image (below) focuses on Nick (Frank Dillane), whom we last saw running away from the group and into the night as Madison (Kim Dickens), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Ofelia (Mercedes Mason), and Strand (Colman Domingo) hightail it away from the burning compound in a truck. Nick can clearly be seen rocking a blood-stained t-shirt (a recurring getup for him) as he traverses an abandoned highway. The second image (above) shows a menacing herd of walkers making their way across a field.
A panel for Fear the Walking Dead, featuring the show’s cast and producers, is set for Friday, July 22 at 12:00 p.m. PT in Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center. Fans can also board a recreation of the Abigail yacht on Fifth Avenue Pier, just behind the Convention Center, at the event.
Fear the Walking Dead‘s second season resumes Aug. 21 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. Check out the series’ new poster in the image below.
