The air is getting colder, leaves are falling, and your favorite shows are returning! It’s officially fall TV season, and the best place to get the scoop on all your fall TV faves is New York Comic Con. From Thursday to Sunday at the Javits Center in New York City, all the stars, showrunners, creators, producers, and anyone else that has to do with making the best TV out there will be at NYCC letting fans in on behind-the-scenes secrets, upcoming plot twists, and screening exclusive sneak peeks and episodes. It’s a TV lover’s dream come true, but it can be pretty overwhelming to plan out which panels to hit up. Fear not: we’ve put together a list of the most buzzworthy, can’t-miss TV panels at NYCC.

Thursday, Oct. 8

12 Monkeys

WHEN: 12:15–1:15 p.m.

WHERE: Main Stage 1-D

WHAT: The hit SyFy series took viewers on a wild ride throughout season 1, as we watched James Cole travel back from the future to stop the mysterious Army of the Twelve Monkeys from releasing a deadly virus. After that shocking finale, we’re all curious about what will happen in season 2. The cast and creators will be talking about the time-twisting show and screening a first look at the second season.

The Walking Dead

WHEN: 2:45–3:45 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: The creator of the hit comic-book series turned TV show, Robert Kirkman, will be joined by some special guests to talk about the zombie phenomenon that has captured the nation. It looks like the panel will focus heavily on the comic books, but Kirkman (and perhaps some of his special guests) also promise to get into what’s next for the hit AMC series.

Game of Thrones

WHEN: 4:00–5:00 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: Pretty much everyone is keeping up with HBO’s smash mystical drama about the struggle for power in the land of Westeros (and beyond). The series just cleaned up at the Emmys, so we’re all waiting to see what’s next! Get the scoop on season 6 from Finn Jones (Loras Tyrell), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), and Keisha Castle-Hughes (Obara Sand), and hear some secrets from behind the scenes. Plus, EW’s own Gillian Telling will moderate the panel.

Supergirl, Containment, and Legends of Tomorrow

WHEN: 7:15–9:30 p.m.

WHERE: Main Stage 1-D

WHAT: Warner Brothers Television will be offering advanced screening of the pilot episodes for some of its most anticipated shows. Watch Supergirl take to the skies, a quarantined town fight for survival, and some of DC Comics’ most well-known superheroes team up to save the world before everyone else.

Friday, Oct. 9

Stitchers and Pretty Little Liars

WHEN: 11:00–12:15 p.m.

WHERE: Room 1A06

WHAT: The cast of two of ABC Family’s hottest dramas will take the stage to talk about their upcoming seasons and play some exclusive video footage for fans. Stitchers will be airing a stand-alone Halloween episode before returning for its second season in 2016. The series creator and stars will be taking questions from the audience and showing some exclusive footage. The big question of “Who is A?” finally got answered with the recent Pretty Little Liars finale, but when the show returns for season 6, the girls will be 5 years older. The cast and executive producers will show fans what the aged-up girls will look like and the new mysteries that await them, as well as answering your questions.

Adventure Time

WHEN: 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Hammerstein Ballroom

WHAT: For six seasons, the silly, colorful world of Adventure Time has proven to be so much more than just a children’s show. The adventures of Finn and Jake have provided children and adults alike with both imaginative creations as well as heavy moral quandaries and mysteries. As the series prepares to air an eight-part Halloween story this October, the cast and crew will give fans a sneak peak as well as answer all of your questions about the candy-filled, possibly post-apocalyptic land of Ooo.

Elementary and Limitless

WHEN: 1:30–3:00 p.m.

WHERE: Hammerstein Ballroom

WHAT: Join the cast and crew of two of CBS’ most talked about dramas as they discuss the upcoming seasons of their shows and play exclusive content for the audience. Now entering its fourth season, Elementary promises to only be getting more complex and mysterious. Stars Jonny Lee Miller (Sherlock Holmes), Lucy Liu (Joan Watson), and the recently added John Noble (Morland Holmes) will talk about their roles and give fans a sneak peak at what’s to come. Limitless may have only just premiered, but it’s proving to be a hit series already, thanks in part to the help of the 2011 film’s star Bradley Cooper. Stars Jake McDorman (Brian Finch) and Jennifer Carpenter (Rebecca Harris) will both tell and show fans what to expect from the freshman series.

Colony and Mr. Robot

WHEN: 3:30–6:00 p.m.

WHERE: Hammerstein Ballroom

WHAT: Be among the first to get a peek at the new seasons of USA’s hit shows: the highly anticipated Colony and freshman smash Mr. Robot. The cast of Colony will preview their upcoming show, which features a near-future Los Angeles under military occupation. Afterwards, the cast and creators of Mr. Robot will give fans a look inside one of 2015’s hottest shows, and where the next season will go after that huge finale twist.

Once Upon a Time

WHEN: 4:30–5:30 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: Where we last left our protagonist Emma Swan, was making her transition into the Dark One. Now, as season 5 continues to unfold, creators Edward Kasis and Adam Horowitz along with Emma herself, Jennifer Morrison, will discuss the twists and turns to come, as well as screening an upcoming episode from the season.

Teen Wolf

WHEN: 5:45–6:45 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: Halfway through their fifth season, the cast of MTV’s hit show will take the stage to answer questions and dish the dirt on what’s coming next for the McCall pack.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter

WHEN: 6:00–7:15 p.m.

WHERE: Main Stage 1-D

WHAT: Marvel has taken over the world of blockbuster movies, and now it’s making headway in captivating television as well. Marvel’s head of television, Jeph Loeb, is revealing secrets about the two agent-centric ABC shows. See an exclusive screening of a new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode, and find out what’s ahead for the second season of Agent Carter.

Con Man

WHEN: 7:00–8:00 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: In what will very likely be the most meta panel of the year, Con Man creator and star Alan Tudyk is bringing the cast of his semi-autobiographical show about conventions to this convention. Tudyk was raised a record-breaking $3.2 million on Indiegogo to fund his dream project that he’s been wanting to make for 13 years. Hear stars Tudyk, Nathan Fillion, P.J. Haarsma, Felicia Day, Seth Green, and Keely Flaherty talk about the unique show.

Saturday, Oct. 10


WHEN: 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: ABC Family is adapting the hit young adult fantasy novel series The Mortal Instruments into a new show called Shadowhunters. The highly anticipated series will follow 18-year-old Clary as she learns that she is part angel and learns to hunt down demons as a Shadowhunter. The cast (Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Harry Shum Jr., Alberto Rosende, Emeraude Toubia, Matthew Daddario, and Isaiah Mustafa), showrunner Ed Decter, executive producer McG, and book author Cassandra Clare will all be there screening exlusive footage, discussing the show, and answering fan questions.


WHEN: 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.

WHERE: Main Stage 1-D

WHAT: Don’t get your hopes up. Sadly, Joss Whedon’s gone-too-soon space western isn’t filming another season, but the cast is reuniting on stage to reminisce and answer questions about the cult classic. Nathan Fillion, Gina Torres, and Jewel Staite will be present to mourn the loss of Firefly with you, as well as divulge some behind-the-scenes secrets and tease us with some upcoming projects. Maybe, just maybe, we can get a second season? Or another movie? Anything?!

The Shannara Chronicles

WHEN: 12:15–1:15 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: MTV is adapting the Shannara fantasy novel series into a new series set to premiere in January. The cast and crew will talk about the anticipated series along with answering fan questions and screening an exclusive sneak peek.

The X-Files

WHEN: 1:15–2:30 p.m.

WHERE: Main Stage 1-D

WHAT: Mulder and Scully are back with even more paranormal mysteries. The hit ’90s drama has been off the air for more than 15 years, but will finally be back for an event series in January. Be among the first to see the first new episode of The X-Files in a decade and a half, and then watch as The X-Files Files podcaster Kumail Nanjiani moderates a Q&A with star David Duchovny and creator Chris Carter.

Ash vs. Evil Dead

WHEN: 3:00–4:00 p.m.

WHERE: Hammerstein Ballroom

WHAT: The famous horror franchise that spans 4 movies, 6 video games, and 4 decades is finally coming to television thanks to Starz. Original filmmaker Sam Raimi, showrunner Craig DiGregorio, and series stars Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo will talk about the series and let fans know what to expect now that the epic franchise is moving to television.

Jessica Jones and Daredevil

WHEN: 5:00–6:45 p.m.

WHERE: Main Stage 1-D

WHAT: Marvel has proved itself to be a force to be reckoned with on Netflix with the original series Daredevil, and now they’re prepared to do it again with next year’s Jessica Jones. See the cast of Jessica Jones come together publicly for the very first time to answer questions and discuss the highly anticipated new show. Afterwards, revel in the action-packed first season of the hit show Daredevil, and hear what’s in the works for season 2.


WHEN: 5:15–6:15 p.m.

WHERE: Room 1A06

WHAT: After an unknown epidemic breaks out, a quarantine of the city of Atlanta forces those trapped on the inside to figure out a way to survive with each other while trying to uncover the truth behind the mysterious virus plaguing the city. See the entire pilot of the upcoming CW series, followed by a Q&A with the stars and producers of the show. Plus, EW’s own Samantha Highfill will moderate.

Doctor Who

WHEN: 7:45–9:15 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: Back for its ninth season, the BBC phenomenon has became a cultural touchstone. Whovians won’t want to miss a Q&A with writer Toby Whithouse, as well as an exclusive advanced screening of the newest episode, “Before the Flood.” Plus, EW’s own Clark Collis will moderate the panel.

Sunday, Oct. 11

Gravity Falls

WHEN: 12:00–1:00 p.m.

WHERE: Room 1A24

WHAT: Disney XD’s Emmy-winning animated mystery has captured the interest of children and adults alike. The mysteries that surround the town of Gravity Falls have had fans guessing and theorizing for two seasons, and now creator and star Alex Hirsch will reveal some of the show’s central secrets and answer audience questions.

Minority Report

WHEN: 12:15–1:15 p.m.

WHERE: Empire Stage 1-E

WHAT: The new Fox drama, a sequel to the 2002 Spielberg movie of the same name, follows a detective in 2065 with the ability to predict crimes and stop them before they occur. The cast (Stark Sands, Meagan Good, Nick Zano, Wilmer Valderrama, and Laura Regan), showrunner Kevin Falls, and creator Max Borenstein will answer audience questions after screening a new episode of their sci-fi thriller.

Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Blindspot, Supergirl, and Person of Interest

WHAT: The stars and producers of five hot Warner Brothers shows get together to screen exclusive content, answer questions, and talk about what’s to come for their shows.

Sleepy Hollow

WHAT: Fox’s popular supernatural drama is back for its third season, and it promises to be crazier, and more fun, than ever. The cast and executive producers will screen a new episode of the show, and answer audience questions.
