Of all the projects teased at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, one of the definite highlights was the Deadpool footage, which received such rapturous applause from the audience that star Ryan Reynolds showed it twice. And while that footage shown over the weekend has since leaked online, Reynolds says fans will have to wait just a little bit longer to see it officially.

“We have something for you in 3 weeks,” the actor tweeted on Sunday. 


Reynolds has previously credited leaked footage during last year’s Comic Con with helping Deadpool get a green light from Fox. Now that it’s really happening, however, the creators seem intent on making sure any more footage is official and ready for consumption.

Deadpool will arrive in theaters on Feb. 12, 2016. Reynolds and his co-stars also stopped by the EW Comic-Con Lounge during the convention weekend, and you can see them talk about the film in the video below.
