WGN America

The witches aren’t going anywhere: WGN America has renewed Salem for a third season. The network made an announcement at the show’s Saturday panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

When stars Janet Montgomery, Ashley Madekwe, Shane West, Iddo Goldberg, and Seth Gabel stopped by the Entertainment Weekly Lounge at Comic-Con on Saturday, they told us they’re planning to “go even further” in season 3 than they did season 2.

“What’s so exciting about a third season, what I love about this show is it keeps going and going deeper down the rabbit hole,” Gabel said. “It’s not something where’s its like a procedural where it resets itself every week. This just means we’re going to be able to go even further than we did before…. If you saw how crazy season 2 was, we’re going to get even more so.”
