Comic Con 2015 iZombie panel preview: Everything you need to know
Now that Liv’s little secret is out, Friday’s Comic-Con panel should provide some juicy scoop on the new season of iZombie. To prepare for the big event, EW is here to give you a refresher on where The CW drama left off:
Where we left off: Major (Robert Buckley) attempted to wipe out Blaine (David Anders) and his crew at Meat Cute after escaping their clutches. Unfortunately, he was stabbed in the process, so Liv (Rose McIver) was forced to scratch him to turn him into a zombie. Naturally, Major was pissed that he wasn’t given the choice to become a zombie — and that Liv had been lying to him the whole time — so Liv gave half the cure to him … and the other half to Blaine! Sadly that means no cure for Liv. Also, Liv’s brother (Nick Purcha) still showed up for his first day at work at Meat Cute just as Lieutenant Suzuki (Hiro Kanagawa) blew the place up. And the only thing that can save her bro? Liv’s blood, which she declines to give up.
What we know about season 2: It has not escaped Liv that she had her shot to be human again and passed it up to save Major, but she’ll be more focused on preventing the zombie apocalypse now that Super Max is on track to be released. Max Rager’s nefarious head honcho Vaughn will also make good on his promise to take care of the zombie problem, forcing Liv and Blaine to work together as their fellow undead start to go missing. Meanwhile, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is on the hunt for more tainted Utopium in order to recreate the cure. Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) is determined to link Major to the Meat Cute incident, as well as figure out who the mysterious Blaine is. Major is majorly pissed off at Liv for lying to him, especially after he checked himself into a mental hospital over the whole zombie thing. Oh, and that cure Major and Blaine took will come with some side effects. Get more scoop here.
Comic-Con burning question: When are Liv and Blaine totally going to have zombie sex?
