Coco went to Cuba. Now he’s going to Comic-Con.

Last night on Conan, Conan O’Brien announced that he would be hosting his late-night talk show from Comic-Con in San Diego for a week of shows, from July 8 to July 11. Fans of calendars will note that this marks a shift in the airing schedule, as Conan will be offering new episodes on Friday and Saturday, and all shows will be broadcast from the Spreckles Theater in downtown San Diego.

We’ve known since last year that O’Brien would invade this year’s edition of Comic-Con; as TBS notes, it will be the first time that a late-night program has broadcast live from the pop culture convention.

Below, you can check out O’Brien’s announcement on last night’s broadcast of Conan—complete with a Darth Vader appearance—and you can read his eloquent, exclusive essay about outgoing late-night legend David Letterman right here.
