Ronan Farrow will publish a book expanding on his reporting on sexual misconduct and “the machine deployed by powerful men to silence survivors of abuse and threaten reporters chasing those survivors’ stories,” Little, Brown, and Co. announced on Friday.

In Catch and Kill, Farrow will reveal the full extent of his reporting, and what he discovered about how far private investigators, former spies, high-priced lawyers, and embattled executives allegedly went to terrorize, intimidate and silence the women whose stories helped launch an international conversation on sexual misconduct and the abuse of power. It will also zero in on the efforts of law enforcement agencies and journalistic outlets to combat the alleged abuses and cover-ups. Finally, per Little, Brown, Catch and Kill will provide “stunning revelations” and expose “new twists” in this ongoing story.

Little, Brown calls the book “a deeply personal story about a reporter grappling with how much to put on the line to protect the truth, and a story that expands our understanding of the forces in law, politics, and media that maintained a conspiracy of silence around Weinstein and other men in power committing gross abuses with impunity.”

“It’s been important to me to keep the spotlight focused on the survivors of sexual violence who risked so much to speak to me and other reporters whose work I admire,” Farrow said in a statement. “I’ve also always said that the questions about the behind-the-scenes mechanics that suppressed these revelations are legitimate — and that, when enough time had passed, and once I had marshaled the evidence needed to tell this story, I would find a way to do so. Catch and Kill is that story.”

Farrow and The New Yorker won a Pulitzer Prize for his groundbreaking reporting on the alleged sexual misconduct of Harvey Weinstein, and the dramatic cover-ups surrounding it, for Public Service. Most recently, he and co-author Jane Mayer reported bombshell allegations of sexual misconduct against Eric Schneiderman, who resigned his post as New York Attorney General shortly after they were published. (Schneiderman has denied the allegations.) Farrow also published the book War on Peace last month, about America’s declining global influence. It debuted as a New York Times best-seller.

“Ronan Farrow’s wrenching investigative journalism has given voice to sexual abuse survivors and shaken the conscience of our culture,” Little, Brown publisher Reagan Arthur added. “But, despite the enormity of the conversation his reporting helped ignite, some of the most astonishing disclosures about what he uncovered are still to come. We’re very proud to be publishing this important book.”
