Pre-registration for the game is now available on Google Play
It’s the moment Harry Potter fans have been dreaming of: One day, an owl arrives with a magical letter telling them they have been selected for admission to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! While that moment may never come in real life, at least it will be realizable in video game form. The upcoming mobile game Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will allow players to construct their own Hogwarts student, as seen in the brand new gameplay trailer.
Players will also be able to choose their own Hogwarts House and interact with the corresponding professors –McGonagall for Gryffindor, Sprout for Hufflepuff, Flitwick for Ravenclaw, and Snape for Slytherin. From there, they can learn new spells, explore Hogwarts mysteries, and form friendships or rivalries with fellow students to test their skills. In short, it sounds like everything a Harry Potter superfan could want.
The game still doesn’t have an official release date, but pre-registration is now available on Google Play. Fans who sign up will be the first to know when the game launches.
