David Sedaris — the sardonic comic writer behind best-selling essay collections Me Talk Pretty One Day and Naked — will give readers an even deeper glimpse into his mind with Theft by Finding: Diaries (1977-2002).

As the title suggests, this latest book is a compilation of Sedaris’ favorite diary entries over the past four decades, stuffed with his thoughts and observations on all the bizarre happenings he witnesses. While some entries may be familiar to those who have attended Sedaris’ readings over the years, Theft by Finding is the first time these private records have been available in print.

EW is thrilled to exclusively reveal the cover of Theft by Finding, below, in advance of the book’s publication on May 30, 2017.
