TIU just nabbed someone from SVU.

This Is Us has tapped Law & Order: SVU‘s Hari Dhillon for a recurring role, NBC confirmed on Friday. Dhillon will play Sanjay, who is a colleague — and rival — of Randall (Sterling K. Brown).

Dhillon, who starred in the British crime series Holby City, most recently recurred on SVU in October, and he appeared in a pair of Madam Secretary episodes earlier this year.

The casting, first reported by The Wrap, comes soon after news of two other new faces joining the show in recurring roles. Longmire‘s Adam Bartley will provide support to Kate (Chrissy Metz) during a difficult time, and The Walking Dead‘s Alexandra Breckenridge, will play a childhood friend of Kate.

Randall seems to have his hands full at work: In the fall finale, Westworld‘s Jimmi Simpson played Randall’s troubled coworker who almost took his own life.

The guest roster for This Is Us also includes Sam Trammell, Janet Montgomery, Gerald McRaney, Katey Sagal, Brad Garrett, and Jon Huertas.
