Luke Skywalker has seen Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and has reached a verdict: The Force is strong with it.

Mark Hamill saw the prequel to A New Hope, the first Star Wars movie he appeared in. The events of Rogue One lead up to the 1977 blockbuster, where Luke destroys the domineering Death Star thanks to plans acquired by the heroes of the new standalone story. The Jedi Master co-sign is one of the most prestigious in the Galaxy — and the film got it.

“Perfect Cast Astonishing Action Non-Stop Thrills Grabs U from the 1st frame & never lets go! Not just a great #SWMovie A #GreatMovie PERIOD!” Hamill tweeted Friday night.

Hamill, whose next Saga appearance comes in Episode VIII next year, joins a chorus of critics who have largely lauded the film.

Rogue One, which stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, and Forest Whitaker, is in theaters now.
