There’s plenty tension between CIA and a newly elected president in the new Homeland season 6 trailer. Once again showing some real-life prescience, the upcoming season of Showtime’s espionage thriller has Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) wrangling with a new president-elect (Elizabeth Marvel) — yup, a woman, so the show didn’t quite get that part right. There’s also the first words from brain-damaged Quinn (Rupert Friend) who we last saw seemingly about to be smothered by in his hospital bed by Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). But we notably don’t see him, so we’re unsure what his condition really is. Homeland returns Jan. 15.
