The end is here, Bones fans.
The long-running Fox drama has filmed its last shot and wrapped production, according to a photo shared by star David Boreanaz on Twitter Thursday morning.
“Last shot and series wrap,” he tweeted with a picture of the the series finale’s slate.
Boreanaz is also set to direct the series finale, which TVLine reports is titled “The End in the End.” This will be the eleventh time the show’s star has stepped behind the camera for an episode. At this point, not much else is known about the series finale, except that it will probably involve the destruction of the Jeffersonian, which Boreanaz teased on Twitter earlier this month.
Michaela Conlin, who has played Angela Montenegro since the show premiered in 2005, finished her work on the show earlier this week, too. On Tuesday, she shared a sweet set photo that juxtaposed her first day on the show with one of her final days.
The 12-episode final season of Bones begins Jan. 3 on Fox.
