Katherine Heigl is a woman scorned in the upcoming Warner Bros. thriller Unforgettable. And so follows her fury.

In the first moments of a new trailer released Tuesday, Heigl’s Tessa is enjoying margaritas her ex-husband’s new fiancée, Julia, played by Rosario Dawson.

“There was a time I thought we were on the road to getting back together,” Tessa tells Julia. “Then he met you,” she adds, pulling a 180 during their cordial lunch.

It’s all drama from there, as Tessa torments and threatens Julia, who is still trying to put her own troubled past behind her. There’s little chance of that, however, once Tessa starts doing some digging, becoming Julia’s worst nightmare. “This is my life. It’s mine!” Tessa exclaims amidst scenes of psychological and physical warfare against her new foe.

Veteran producer Denise Di Novi (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Edward Scissorhands) makes her directorial debut from a script by Christina Hodson (Shut In).

Unforgettable, in theaters April 21, also stars Geoff Stults (7th Heaven), Isabella Rice (True Blood), Whitney Cummings (Whitney), Simon Kassianides (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Robert Wisdom (Ballers), and Cheryl Ladd.
