Kanye West left his meeting with Donald Trump with a parting gift.

On Wednesday, the rap star revealed Trump had signed a copy of his recent TIME magazine Person of the Year cover for West.

“To Kanye you are a great friend. Thanks,” the signature reads.

Just after the meeting, Trump said that the two discussed “life” and that they were “friends for a long time.” West then posted a series of tweets in which he said that they met to discuss “multicultural issues.” He tweeted, “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago. I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.” He then shared, “#2024.”
