Here’s one thing of the great things about 2016: We got Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The script’s incredible popularity made it Amazon’s best-selling book of the year, the company announced Wednesday.

The second and third spots on Amazon’s list went to When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi and The Whistler by John Grisham, respectively.

Cursed Child also topped the best-selling Kids & Teens books of 2016, Most Gifted books of 2016, and Most Wished For books of 2016.

“The power of Potter is still strong, and readers of all ages can’t get enough of Hogwarts. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was the most anticipated book of the year, breaking pre-order records months before its release,” Amazon Senior Book Editor Chris Schluep said in a statement. The best-selling book lists are comprised of first editions published in 2016, including both print and Kindle purchases.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child debuted when the play took over London’s West End this summer. The book sold over 2 million copies in its first two days on stands. Just last week, it was announced that the play was in talks to hit Broadway in spring 2018.
