Terry Crews has no time for players or haters, something he proves during Spike’s Rock the Troops special.

Dressed in camo pants, boots, and nothing else, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor takes to the stage on the Spike TV special surrounded by troops to deliver his inspiring performance.

As previewed in the exclusive clip above, the sequence starts out as a traditional, boot-stomping rendition of the military cadence “I Don’t Know What I’ve Been Told” but soon segues into Taylor Swift’s smash hit, “Shake It Off.”

“When chips are down and you need a lift/ Can’t forget the words of my girl, T. Swift,” chants a surprisingly light-on-his-feet Crews before breaking into Swift’s hit, shaking off players and haters while literally shaking his hips and making his pecs dance to the beat.

Rock the Troops is a musical and comedic showcase in honor of America’s armed forces, all hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Taped at the historical Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, the event also features stars such as Matthew McConaughey, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart with musical performances from Nick Jonas, Flo Rida, Tenacious D, and more. Plus, George Clooney, Chris Pratt, and Melissa McCarthy pop up in inspirational taped segments.

Rock the Troops premieres tonight at 9 p.m. ET on Spike.
