The stars are coming out for the world premiere of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in Los Angeles on Saturday, but fans can see all the action in a live stream coming to

Starting at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on Saturday, the official Star Wars website will stream the red carpet event, which will play host to Rogue One stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, and Donnie Yen, in addition to director Gareth Edwards and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. 

A number of special guests also plan on attending, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams, Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew, C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels, Ewan McGregor (who played young Obi-wan Kenobi in the prequel films), Christian Bale, Elizabeth Banks, Nathan Fillion, and many more. 

Rogue One takes place in between Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV – A New Hope. The story focuses on how the Rebel Alliance came into possession of the plans for the Death Star, thanks to the efforts of a squadron led by Jyn Erso (Jones). 

The film will be released in theaters on Dec. 16. Watch the live stream at
