If you ever wondered where Jyn Erso stashed the Death Star plans after stealing them in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, they’re at Gareth Edwards’ mom’s house.

The director joined his cast, including Felicity Jones and Diego Luna, for a chat on Jimmy Kimmel Live and told the host how he’s the true intergalactic thief. “I’d thought it’d be funny, and also I really wanted to do it,” he said. “So when I left [the film’s set], I stole the Death Star plans. They’re at my mum’s house right now. I’m not gonna give away where she lives. There’d be like a million Star Wars fans trying to steal them back.”

What an ending to the first Star Wars anthology film! Rogue One takes place before Episode IV – A New Hope and tells of how the Rebel Alliance came into possession of the blueprints for the Empire’s planet-exploding weapon of mass destruction. Jones takes the lead as Jyn Erso, who goes behind enemy lines with a squadron to execute the mission.

The cast brought a couple clips to Jimmy Kimmel Live to preview the epic tale. The first is a scene of Alan Tudyk’s blunt droid K-2S0 helping to rescue Jyn from prison. Watch it below at the 3:18 mark, in addition to Edwards’ Death Star confession at the 2:17 mark.

The second sees K-2S0 attempting to fly Captain Cassian Andor (Luna), Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), and Baze Malbus (Wen Jiang) over dangerous terrain.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be released in theaters on Dec. 16.
