Bust out your highballs and fringed flapper skirts — it’s time to return to the roaring ’20s.

Amazon’s new Jazz Age drama Z: The Beginning of Everything takes us inside the world of the ’20s most famous author, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and his destructive, yet inspiring muse of a wife, Zelda.

The new 10-episode series stars Christina Ricci as the charismatic and legendary Zelda Fitzgerald and David Hoflin as The Great Gatsby author himself. From the trailer, it looks like exploring their courtship and marriage is going to be one heck of a ride.

Their first, boozy introduction goes something like this: “I’m Scott Fitzgerald, I believe this is my dance,” to which Zelda counters, “Well, that depends on what you’ve got in that flask of yours.” That is how you win over a woman during the prohibition era.

The preview is packed with Lindy Hop, champagne, general debauchery, accusations of plagiarism, and definitely a hint of a marital problem or two, with somebody pointing out that Fitzgerald “basically married the heroine of his stories.” Later in the trailer, when Fitzgerald introduces his wife to the press as Mrs. Fitzgerald, Zelda steps forward and tells the room, “You can call me Zelda.” It’s clear there’s no keeping Z in the shadows.

Having first made its pilot debut back in Nov. 2015, the series snagged a series pickup just over a year ago. You can watch the first episode now on Amazon Prime and catch the rest of the series when it starts on January 27.
