As a director, Rob Zombie is known for pushing the horror envelope with films like House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and his remake of John Carpenter’s Halloween. And the musician-filmmaker’s picks as the latest guest curator for horror film streaming service Shudder also lean towards the extreme, with Cannibal Holocaust, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, and Tobe Hooper’s original Texas Chain Saw Massacre rubbing their blood-splattered shoulders with the 1932 classic terror tale White Zombie and Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm.

Zombie’s collection of recommendations debuts today on Shudder. Also premiering on the service? Zombie’s latest film 31, which is exclusively streaming on Shudder along with a director’s commentary and two making-of featurettes.

Watch the filmmaker talk about his picks with Shudder curator Sam Zimmerman, above.
