The @Seinfeld2000 Twitter account imagines if Seinfeld were still on TV today, and Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig imagines that John Lennon’s “Imagine” is actually about Seinfeld in a clip from his Beats 1 Radio show, Time Crisis.

“Imagine Seinfeld back on TV, it isn’t hard to do,” Koenig croons to the tune of the 1971 song. “Kramer, George, and Elaine, maybe Newman, too. Imagine all the Seinfelds back on NBC. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.”

Koenig’s a noted Seinfeld fan, and has previously collaborated with the man behind @Seinfeld2000, Jason Richards: Richards interviewed Koenig in 2013, and Koenig recorded an a capella version of the Seinfeld theme song for The Junior Mint, a Seinfeld-themed online game created by Richards, in 2014.
