PICK OF THE WEEKEND

Westworld

HBO, Sunday. 9 p.m.

The sci-fi epic’s seemed to drop one head-spinning twist after another each week, giving conspiracy-theorist fans plenty to chew on all season. What’s in the store for the big 90-minute finale? We won’t give too much away, but… we’ll give a little bit away: Check out our post on the intriguing images from the season-ender.

VIEWER BEWARE

Mr. Neighbor’s House

Adult Swim, Friday, midnight

One of the darkest, weirdest slabs of comedy you’ll see this year is this one-off special about a guy in a bow tie and sweater-vest. That guy is Mr. Neighbor (Veep‘s Brian Huskey), a sad but friendly Mister Rogers-like host whose only friends are puppets and talking objects. Hardcore comedy fans, this will be your jam.

FOR PETE’S SAKE

Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds

HBO, Saturday, 10 p.m.

MIDSEASON FINALE

Once Upon a Time

ABC, Sunday, 8 p.m.

Can the residents of Storybrooke stop the Evil Queen? Sunday’s fall finale finds the heroes uncovering a weapon capable of wounding her. But a happy ending still may not be in store — check out our exclusive preview of the winter finale.
