For anyone still bemoaning the way the Divergent series ended, author Veronica Roth has a special surprise for you.
Roth has written an epilogue, she revealed Thursday, documenting what happened to the character of Four (a.k.a. Tobias) in the years after the conclusion of the final book, Allegiant.
“I’ve always said that the Divergent series felt complete to me, but a little while ago I realized there was still some of the story that I had left untold,” says Roth in a video she tweeted. “So I wrote something just for myself about what Tobias had been up to in the years after Allegiant. And the news is that I’m going to share it with you.”
However, there’s a slight catch. Titled “We Can Be Mended,” this additional piece of writing will only be available to readers who pre-order Roth’s new book, Carve the Mark, or purchase the book on its release date.

Carve the Mark will be released Jan. 17, 2017.
