ALL CROPS: screengrab Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life Intro

While the eagerly-anticipated Gilmore Girls revival may have had some fans questioning if the nine-year hiatus was worth it (Has Rory always been the worst? THOSE were the four words?!), fans everywhere could agree on one thing: The original opening sequence was sorely missed.

Netflix’s four-episode revival skipped out on the show’s intro, a montage of show clips set to Carole King’s instantly recognizable “Where You Lead,” which she sings with her own daughter, Louise Goffin.

When the latest episodes failed to include the beloved intro, YouTube user Rose Tyler took it upon herself to make a new, updated version that would fit right in to the latest batch of Stars Hollow adventures. The video is a nostalgic treat for fans, and includes all-new clips from the revival with the same classic font as the original.
