PICK OF THE WEEKEND

Drunk History

Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.

Guess who got tipsy to tell the tale of Alexander Hamilton? Why, yes, it was Lin-Manuel Miranda (much to the president-elect’s chagrin, surely). He’ll close out the show’s season with help from Alia Shawkat (who’ll play Hamilton in Miranda’s re-telling) and Aubrey Plaza (as Ham’s nemesis, Aaron Burr). Take a look at our exclusive preview of the episode here.

SEASON PREMIERE

Fixer Upper

HGTV, 9 p.m.

Should we all just move to Waco, Texas? Life moves a little slower, real estate prices are a little lower, and married house-flippers Chip and Joanna Gaines can transform your home into a country-chic masterpiece. Just prepare for a lot of sliding farm doors.

SERIES DEBUT

Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath

A&E, 10 p.m.

The King of Queens actress escaped Scientology and lived to tell about it in this new docuseries, which promises to reveal “shocking stories of abuse, heartbreak, and harassment experienced by those who have left the church and spoken publicly about their experiences.”
