Derek Hough will be giving his feet some rest, taking a seat to judge other dancers alongside R&B singer Ne-Yo as they join Jennifer Lopez on NBC’s upcoming dance competition series, World of Dance, the network announced Tuesday.

“Thrilled to be joining @jlo and @neyo with the amazing new show ‘WORLD OF DANCE’,” Hough wrote on Instagram. “I cannot wait to see the amazing talent we will uncover on this new incredible adventure!”

Added Ne-Yo: “LET’S GO!!! … Passion, Precision, Technicality, Groove….What makes the world’s best dancer THE WORLD’S BEST DANCER? We shall see.”

Lopez boarded the series back in June, a 10-episode stretch that will boast solo dancers, duos, and groups across many genres of dance going head to head with $1 million on the line.

Hough recently wrapped his run on season 23 of DWTS, ending up in sixth place with celebrity partner Marilu Henner. He’ll star in Hairspray Live! next month on NBC as variety show host Corny Collins.

Ne-Yo, a three-time Grammy winner, is no stranger to NBC. He appeared as Tin-Man in the acclaimed The Wiz Live! last winter.

World of Dance has no premiere date yet.
