The Tonight Show‘s Fallonventions segment took an especially inspiring turn Wednesday night when host Jimmy Fallon welcomed a pair of sisters from New Hampshire to the stage.
Claire and Sadie revealed their Amazing Curb Climber, which was inspired by Sadie’s desire to go to the library.
“So I have cerebral palsy which means I have to use a walker. So one day I was at the library, and they have these big steps,” Sadie, 10, explained. “I couldn’t get up because my walker couldn’t climb up curbs or stairs. So I decided to make one that could. And so I did.”
The invention worked flawlessly, and Fallon rewarded the pair with a check for $10,000 to further their education.
