Chance the Rapper took up Drake’s Views during his BBC Live Lounge appearance.

The Coloring Book artist covered Drizzy’s track “Feel No Ways” on Tuesday. While Drake’s song is relatively minimalist, Chance and his backing band, The Social Experiment, stripped it down even more and played it much slower and simpler. Chance was primarily accompanied by keys as he tried to sing his way through the track, despite not knowing some words.

“I’m messing up all of Drake’s words — on purpose,” he improvised. “I’m not a singer, but BBC got me up very early in the morning,” Chance admitted mid-song.

While at the BBC, Chance shouted out he would be thinking about his fellow Chicagoan Kanye West, who was hospitalized Monday after canceling his Saint Pablo tour.

“I want to extend a special prayer to my big brother Kanye West,” he said on BBC Radio 1Xtra. “I know there’s a lot of weird folks out there but you already know that I’m a hundred grand. I want to just extend this prayer and this love from all the way in Britain. We might come home early to see this. Happy Thanksgiving.”
