The hurler on Pitch may be headed for love.

One Tree Hill actor/singer Tyler Hilton will join the Fox drama in December to play Noah, the CEO of a cutting-edge VFX company that specializes in motion capture for video games. Described as charming and quick-witted, the billionaire computer nerd will serve as a new love interest for Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury).

Hilton’s first episode will air Dec. 1.

Like he did with One Tree Hill, Hilton will debut his new song “Next to You” on Pitch, on Dec. 8. Hilton appeared on several One Tree Hill soundtrack albums, in addition to releasing his own. The single will be available on iTunes on Dec. 7.

Hilton, who also starred in the CBS drama Extant, was recently cast in the CMT pilot Wives and Daughters, a one-hour dramedy series centering on the eclectic wives and daughters of country music legend Eddie Ray Banks.

Pitch airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox.
