It's Always Sunny season 12 red band trailer
“We need to get back on TV, and control the damn narrative,” Dennis (Glenn Howerton) says in the new, extremely NSFW trailer for the upcoming season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And how are they going to control said narrative? By playing as dirty as possible.
The clip features the gang snorting coke, offering money in exchange for sex (what Frank calls an “indecent proposal”), and a new penis-related business endeavor. Frank (Danny DeVito) also spends time at a water park, where he gets to the front of the lines by screaming, “AIDS! I got AIDS! Coming through!”
In addition to the upcoming 12th season, It’s Always Sunny — also starring Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, and Kaitlin Olson — was recently renewed for seasons 13 and 14.
“If anyone doubts the power of a camcorder and a dream, just look at It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which was a DIY backyard pilot when Rob, Charlie and Glenn brought it to FX and will go down in TV history as one of the most loved and enduring comedies,” Nick Grad, president of original programming for FX Networks, previously said in a statement. “Few shows make it this far or have such devoted fans, and we owe it all to the creative vision and great humor of the creators and cast who keep Sunny fresh and inventive every season.”
Watch the (again, very inappropriate) trailer for season 12 above, and see the premiere when it airs Jan. 4 on FXX.
