Is it hot in here or is it just a clip from next week’s Chicago Fire? Oh, actually it’s both.

That slow burn (pun intended) between Fire’s Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) and Chicago P.D.-now-Justices Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) will come to a head in next week’s opening scene, seen exclusively right here.

Sylvie turns up at Antonio’s apartment with her blond locks styled to perfection and flowing over top a big puffer coat. Awkwardly posing in his doorway, she declares, “I am a good girl.” After grabbing a sip of his beer and stepping into the apartment, she continues, “I say my prayers every night…” You know exactly where this is going.

But sweet Antonio doesn’t. He somehow thinks she’s talking about waiting to have sex until she gets married. Oy.

He finally gets hip to what’s happening when she says, “No chance in hell,” and unzips her coat to reveal some saucy lingerie. Perhaps writing that romance novel paid off after all.

Watch the clip below. Chicago Fire airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
