Vanessa Bayer is going from late night to primetime — and to a dance with Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen.

The Saturday Night Live vet will guest-star on Modern Family, EW has learned exclusively. In the episode, which is slated to air Dec. 14, she’ll play a pesky PTA mom who tries to persuade Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Claire (Julie Bowen) to volunteer at the high school. Gloria and Claire then hatch a plan to loosen her up by fixing her up with Principal Brown (Andrew Daly) at the school’s winter dance.

Bayer will hit the big screen next month in Office Christmas Party. Her recent TV credits include Drunk History, Portlandia, and Man Seeking Woman.

The season 8 guest roster of Modern Family also features Nathan Fillion, Martin Short, Kelsey Grammer, and Peyton Manning.

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
