Anna Kendrick and Stephen Colbert love singing together. Nearly every time the actress comes by The Late Show, she ends up singing a duet with the host. Back in March, the song of choice was “Falling In Love Is Wonderful” from the musical Annie Get Your Gun. Appearing on the show Tuesday night to promote her new memoir Scrappy Little Nobody, Kendrick chose a different song, one more appropriate for the complete chaos that has been the year 2016: “I’m Still Here,” from Stephen Sondheim’s Follies.

“2016’s been kind of a bitch, and I keep thinking about this song,” Kendrick said. “It’s one of those songs that makes me feel empowered, like we’ve been through it.”

Unfortunately, Colbert wasn’t quite up on this song, but he did join for a few lines as Kendrick sang.
