Ali Wentworth is learning every day thanks to her husband.
Sitting down with PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle for the latest edition of The Jess Cagle Interview, the actress doesn’t miss a beat when asked to name the teacher for which she is most grateful: “This is going to sound very sappy. I would have to say my husband.”
“Oh, that’s not true,” counters Good Morning America co-anchor Stephanopoulos.
“It is true,” insists Wentworth, 51. “With social faux pas and moral issues, yes, I go to you. You taught me how to say no. I said yes to everything.”

Though Stephanopoulos, 55, opted for his second grade teacher, he admits he is indeed thankful to have such a fulfilling life and relationship with Wentworth, the mother of his two daughters whom he married in 2001.
When asked to sum up his life in a hashtag, the journalist immediately settles on two: #grateful and #lucky. As for Wentworth? Ever the comic, she goes with #sorry.
